In collaboration, the Friends of the Coronado and R.A.V.E (Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment Authority) established a diversity, equity, and inclusion feedback group representing diversity throughout our community. The purpose of this group was to provide insights on what we can do to improve perception, reduce barriers, and ensure an inclusive environment in entertainment and programming at all facilities. Areas considered and discussed included viewpoints not only from a participant or attendee of programming opportunities, but also performers, staff & volunteers, leadership, event hosts, and promoters.
